Because I'm Worth It (Gossip Girl #4)
Because I'm Worth It starts off with Blair and Serena becoming senior peer leaders at their school. Where Blair wants to help the girls as much as she can, Serena seems to only want to talk about being in love with Aaron Rose. Jenny happens to be in the group and befriends Elise and the two are attached at the hip. Blair gets a second chance at her Yale interview with Owen Wells, who is an older but very attractive man and Blair cannot seem to think straight when she is around him. Dan and
I choose to read this book because I love the show Gossip Girl. The book is about a person who knows everyone secrets and displays them on gossipgirl.net and the seniors at Constance Billard School for girls want to know if theyre getting into college. My favorite character would have to be Blair Waldorf. Blair Waldorf is really outgoing and she does whatever it takes to get what she wants. What she has wanted to get is Yale. Shes my favorite character because thats how I am. The emotions that I

I tragically had to skip book #3 - due to an ereader file issue (it was translated from English to Spanish and back again, I think. Highlights included "For those who love me, gossip girl" instead of "you know you love me, gossip girl" - anyway this was as wonderful as the previous books. I am ever rooting for Blair and ever perplexed by Dan Humphrey.
This one was a bit better than installment 4. We are back in New York and back at Constance Billard. Blairs epic quest for Yale and a brief detour into being an almost-mistress. Dan and Vanessa were mostly boring, but I liked the dynamic of the peer group at school with Jenny, Blair and Serena.
In 'Because I'm Worth It', the Upper East Siders find themselves facing some challenges but there's always a bright side to everything. Serena is now enjoying her newfound fame as a model, Blair is given a second chance to get into her dream school Yale and Nate winds up in rehab. Meanwhile, Dan is finally getting recognized for his poetries but his girlfriend Vanessa is feeling ignored..Serena's non-existent storyline was easily the most boring and pointless one in this installment. She merely
2.5/5 stars ratingThis review is also posted at http://readingnookandcranny.blogspot....The title of this novel is a bit ironic. I got through to the end of the book, and it honestly didn't feel like it was worth reading. The drama/plot lines this time around were a little boring and felt like we've maybe already done them before.Serena still can't seem to stay interested in a guy for more than a few weeks, though she does suggest getting matching name tattoos, so that's something I guess.

Description Toward Books Because I'm Worth It (Gossip Girl #4)
Welcome to New York City's Upper East Side, where my friends and I live fabulously, go to school occasionally, and play—constantly. Enter the world of Gossip Girl–a world of jealousy and betrayal, where everything is hip, beautiful, and far more fantastic than anything you ever imagined. It's February and most cities are a cold, great wasteland. But not New York. At least, not my New York. Our college applications are in and it's time to view off some steam. Best of all, Fashion Week is just around the corner, giving us plenty of opportunities to get dressed up and go completely wild. And just think: The later you stay out, the quicker the days will blur by. See you out there! You know you love me, gossip girlItemize Books During Because I'm Worth It (Gossip Girl #4)
