** 3 1/2 stars **This was a pretty good first book in the Blood Curse series. I read this with my friend, Sharon, and i agree with her that there are some similarities with Christine Feehan's Carpathian series...and it's mostly because of the way these vampires carry themselves/act and speak to their woman...very old school vampire novel. I would have to say that the one thing i didn't care for much was the romance between the two main characters..well...at least in the 1st half of the

Incredibly good book! Not for the faint of heart... there is a lot of graphic violence. There is some smex, but this isn't standard erotica where there is a 15 page smex scene every 10.5 pages... there are actually about 3 of them and two are good/loving, one is sort of violent. Not your JR Ward vamps for sure! The Silivasi vamps are truly butt-kickers! But, I loved them all and will be pre-ordering the next book.I am impressed with Tessa Dawn's writing and her ability to make the characters

4 to 4 1/2 THRILLING starsOMG!!! I'm at a loss for words to describe my feeling about this book. Blood Destiny is one of the most intense, shocking, and thrilling stories I've read.
