Mon avis en Français My English reviewI really liked the first novel and the short story we discover here is placed between the first and the second volume of the series. We had not had the opportunity to see Kate far from Henry and it was a pleasure to discover that here.Kate is therefore with James on the way to Athens but they stop so she can be presented to Pollux and Castor, two persons on the run, trying to hide from the gods. But of course, as soon as they meet, Henry and Walter, who

Spoilers if you haven't read The Goddess Test.My Summary:Having passed the tests and won immortality, Kate is free for the summer. Not really wanting to leave her new husband, Henry, but forced by her mother to remember she is still a teen finding her way, Kate heads to Greece with James. What should be a pleasant summer trip is far from it when James decides to visit some very old friends. Too bad they don't want to be found especially by the likes of the Gods. Drawn into the struggle of Lux

A short novella that happens between the Goddess Test and the recently released Goddess Interrupted. Presenting Goddess Test #1.5 The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter .Here is the summary of the book:A vacation in Greece sounds like the perfect way for Kate Winters to spend her first sabbatical away from the Underworld...until she gets caught up in an immortal feud going back millennia. Castor and Pollux have been on the run from Zeus and Hades' wrath for centuries, hiding from the gods who hunt

I wasn't very impressed with this. I read it because I'm generally a huge fan of anything related to Greek Mythology, but this story was stupid. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because it had some potential. *edit* I changed my mind, it doesn't even deserve that.Spoiler alert...So basically the main character, Kate, is Persephone. Only she isn't because Persephone gave up her immortality and is now chilling in the Underworld (I have no intentions of reading further in this series, but

I love how this novella alternates POV between Kate and Henry, we finally get to see a glimpse at his views on his relationship with Kate. I also love the relationship between the two brothers, I don't think they should be punished for simply wanting to be together. I also love how they seem to be the opposite of each other, Casey immediatly trust Kate where Lux doesn't. I loved how this end with Henry let them go because he valued his relationship with Kate more than catching them.

Is it just me who thinks this cover is creepy and staring at the girl's face makes you feel weird? o.O
