Alrighty kiddos, Morgan is back at it again with the confusing feelings a dumb life choices. So Vol. 2 seems to be more like two distinct novels instead of the one novel like Vol. 1. Although really Dark Magick seems more like the conclusion to Vol. 1 then the beginning of Vol.2, formatting wise I would have put it in Vol. 1. Dark Magick wraps up Cal and Morgan's relationship, while Awakening starts the beginnings of a friendship with Hunter and Sky and the mending of Bree and Morgan's

This book is filled with a bunch of accurate terminology about the craft of Wicca. The story in itself is one that's hard to copy, even with it being published in 2001, over 17 years ago. I enjoyed every bit of it. I couldn't put it down for the life of me.

I don't plan to go into great detail about the storyline, because I'm a firm believer that a story can only be truly reviewed by a person's impression of the story. After reading book #4 (Dark Magick), I started to notice how repetitive the author was and how it continued through book #5 (Awakening) and through book #6 (Spellbound). I am not sure when these book were originally published and how much time there was in between the books being published but the author tends to repeat basic information over and over when its clearly not needed at this point.
