This series is fun, if you don't look too closely. ;) It's brain candy, like a great episode of Buffy or something. But I do have several bones to pick with this one. Like why do each of the books only cover a ~48 hr time period?! It's like reading an episode of 24. It just seems impossible to cover that much ground in such a small time frame, especially since the characters are even sleeping and eating. What? My overall reaction to the end of this book was, 'So what?'. I don't understand the hype around this series. It isn't very good, it's written blatantly aimed at selling as many copies to the incredibly stupid, shallow tween American audience. How do I know this? The lack of swearing. Normal teenagers swear. Hunted takes up just after the events of the last book. Al kinds of "bullpoopi" as Zoey likes to say is going down in the House of Night, and in the whole town of Tulsa. Ice storm, power outage, and Raven Mockers are everywhere. Slow starting but as the book goes on it picks up and get's better. Which is good as this is one of my favorite series. Will I go on with the series? Yeah I do own all the books unless something happens in a later one to make me stop wanting to.
