It will take more than magical candy to win this war! Something fishy is going on over at the new amusement centre in Walnut Hills. The trouble seems linked to the mysterious disappearance of Mozag and John Dart, who have spent their lives policing the magical community. When Nate and his friends are asked to help investigate, they discover they discover kids feverishly playing arcade games in an effort to win enough tickets to redeem one of four stamps: jets, tanks, submarines and racecars. Rumour has it that the stamps are definitely worth it. But what do they do? The kids soon discover that the owner of Arcadeland is recruiting members for four different clubs. When each club is filled, he will begin his quest to retrieve a magical talisman of almost unimaginable power. With John Dart and Mozag sidelined, will Nate, Summer, Trevor, Pigeon and their new friend, Lindy, find a way to save the day?Rating Of Books Arcade Catastrophe (The Candy Shop War #2)

The Arcade Catastrophe (The Candy Shop War, #2)I love this sequel a lot! I hope Brandon Mull writes a third!!!! I think that Brandon Mull should of made Lindy take her past not so well. But I know I loved this book more than the first!;)First off, we all know how much I am in love with purple, so the cover itself was intriguing. The artwork is quality and fun, and the purple clinches it for me. And no, I'm not kidding. We really shouldn't judge books by their covers, but we all do it. And this quick judgment was spot on. If you liked The Candy Shop War by Brandon Mull, you will enjoy its sequel Arcade Catastrophe even more. The level of intrigue and creativity is pushed farther taking the story in surprising directions.
[4.5 Stars]So far I have finished three of Brandon Mull's series and I want sequels for EVERY SINGLE ONE!

(Before you read this book review I highly suggest you read the first book) The theme of my book is in spite of obstacles you can achieve your goal. The setting of this book is mainly at an arcade.this story is told by a narrator aou of the story (3rd person point of view) which actually makes a lot of differences. There are six major characters. The six are Nate, Summer, Trevor, Pigeon, and Lindy, and to those who dont know, Lindy is Ms. White. A year after the gang defeated Ms. White and
This book took me 2 days to read! Now I can start on every day by david levaithan! This book was good. I love the cast and plot line. It's not my favorite. Is this a dueology? Or a trilogy? Someone let me know plzzzzz!!!
Just as much fun as the original. As usual, Mull excels at coming up with inventive new ways of using magic, and writes fantasy action sequences better than just about anyone. This book is slightly more mature than the first one the villains more formidable, the stakes are higher, and theres some excellent moral complexity in Lindys character. There are also hints of a larger world at play, and I would love it if Mull continued this series you know, when hes not busy writing awesome books in
It was a great book to read. With how everything was laid out it set a good pace and wasn't slow.
