Description Supposing Books Forever, Christian

Open a book, slip into the comfy seat of a movie theatre, turn on your favourite show or play your favourite video game and you will be transported to another world where you can escape from the day to day stresses of being human. However, once that story or game has ended, you will slip back into the day to day grind of the real world. Imagine being stuck in the world of make believe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because the outside world is too confusing and painful. This is how the real world feels like for Christian Traverse. Inside you will be introduced to the world of one extraordinary boy, who at first glance, you will not find anything unusual about his sandy blond hair, his big, deep blue eyes, or even the long, dark lashes that would be the envy of any woman. You will not be taken aback by his crooked grin or the bubbly personality that can make just about anyone instantly fall in love with him. In fact, unless you know what to look for, you are not likely to notice anything different about him at all, but he is different. This world we live in is confusing, overwhelming and painful because he has a condition known as autism.

Notice Based On Books Forever, Christian
Like I said, at first I thought I'd be promoting her fiction novel, but then Tina sent me Forever Christian's media kit. Upon reading the synopsis earlier today, I immediately demanded that she send me the book. I NEEDED TO KNOW THIS CHILD. I needed to know her story. I read it in one hour, nodding my head at times, because I could relate to Tina as a mother and all the things she felt. Other times I grabbed my chest, recognizing symptoms in my own son and wondering "Could he be autistic too?."

This is a short but poignant account of what it is like to be the mother of an autistic child. I rate this as a brave and honest non-fiction book from Tina Traverse, better known as an author of vampire fiction.

"Forever Christian" by Tina Traverse is a touching and very honest little book about the author's journey with her autistic child, Christian. This is not a comprehensive guide to autism, it is a very personal account of her experience and thoughts, with a very moving introduction by Christian himself. The book tells us of the life with Christian before the diagnosis and shows how hard it is to classify and recognise behaviour that is off the norm. The anecdotes and stories are most heart breaking

Forever, Christian by Tina Traverse is the most profound, heartfelt outpouring of desperation and love you could ever expect to read. Just forget the autism for a moment and just soak in every mother's daily toil looking after a difficult child. Then imagine multiplying those difficulties megafold and each and every day, week, month, year you are dragged into a pit of misery with no way out. And do the doctors help you - of course they do, as they off-handedly diagnose nothing worse than

For me, one of the side effects of being an only child was painful shyness which led to a solitary life with very little friends. To compensate, I immersed myself in my imagination, creating far off worlds inside my head. When I was not acting out these worlds in my backyard, staging plays and concerts for my stuffed toys, I was writing them down in countless journals. I fell in love with the

True story must read:absolutely love to read this book however it's very sad great author and I am going to be reading more from this authornothing to do about the book:why do people rate the book but don't say why they gave that book that rating???
