Narration In Pursuance Of Books Passion (Passion Quartet #1)

In her second year of mourning, lovely, young widow Passion Elizabeth Dare never dreamed she would be with a man again—and certainly not a complete stranger. But amidst the crowds of London's Crystal Palace, Passion finds herself discreetly, yet insistently, pursued by a sensual gentleman who awakens her long-supressed desires. After a loveless marriage of restrained propriety, Passion abandons herself to true bliss for the first time. Intoxicated by his encounter with the beautiful stranger, Mark Randolph Hawkmore, Earl of Langley, cannot wait to see her again. As a series of rapturous rendezvous follows, he and his mystery lover find something rare and wonderful blossoming between them. But a blackmail scheme against the Earl threatens to destroy everything. As a scandal brews, each will have to choose between duty and desire...their love for their families—and their love for each other.

Criticism Appertaining To Books Passion (Passion Quartet #1)
Well, I guess historical erotica really isn't for me :(This was HOT, really hot, but also really really crude, the language and everything, I have no problem with that in contemporaries, but while reading this it just sounded WRONG. But this is my brain's problem. For all erotica lovers, even those who are not into historicals, you will love this one for sure!!

WOW!This is the first book I've read by Lisa Valdez, and it certainly won't be the last! What an amazing story! The characters were fantastic and the Author had me totally and completely enthralled! I couldn't put this book down once I started and the ending was so worth it!Just a warning... this story is more of an erotic-historical-romance.. so be prepared for some 'spicy' sex scenes.Kudos to Ms. Valdez!

After skimming through the other reviews it amazes me that nearly everyone has a different view on this book, myself included. While most people had a problem with the first part of the book , I didn't my gripe was with the second half. I found that this book was in 2 halves lust and love, the first half was the 2 strangers drawn together only by lust and sex. The sex scenes are plenty and though the sex acts ,positions etc are what you read in most Hist/Rom (most books have oral sex etc) the

He latched, voraciously, onto one thick nipple and rolled the other between his fingers. Passion bit back a cry at the hard pull of his mouth. This was a very good historical romance. I loved the interactions between Passion and Mark. Yet she arched against him, offering herself as she threaded her fingers through his hair and held him close. The minor characters and blackmail scheming made for an intriguing story that kept me hooked until the end. He fed upon her longer and more insatiably

This book made me wonder if I read the same book that the 5-star reviewers did. What dreck!I am by no means squeamish. I lurve the trashy erotic romance, I do, and the hotter the better. Unfortunately, Passion wasn't hot, it was merely profane. I have never read sex scenes that have left me quite so cold. The plot, when we're treated to it, is fairly tight and satisfying. Valdez does create a sticky situation for the hero, forcing him to choose between his beloved brother and the woman he's grown

** 4-4,5 tell me something STARS ** Your profile ought to be pressed upon a coin.Your body ought to be pressed upon mine. This book was exactly what I'd needed: A mix of cum and tears. The first half left me panting and desperate to call my boyfriend and demand he get dressed and come over IMMEDIATELY...while the second half was so heart-wrenching that my pillow was drenched with tears when I read the last sentence of the story. If you want to say no, say it now. He shook his head. Not two

I picked up this gem after seeing it rated so highly among erotica fans. And let me tell you this is a hot and steamy. Passion takes naughty smexing and dirty talk to a new level. From reviews, I knew the c-word was common, but Lord Almighty that was just the tip of the iceberg. At times it was completely titillating and others a bit crude for my taste. However, somewhere along the way Passion and Marks story evolved into so much more than sex. It became the heart-felt love story about a man and
